Spring Boho Wedding in Brighton - Sussex

Working with Lilli and harry was an absolute joy from start to finish. So relaxed, smiley and hopelessly in love and I wanted to reflect this in their wedding floral scheme.

This Spring wedding was to be my 1st gig of the year, taking place in early March. This needn't be a concern flowers wise - there is so much to choose from in Spring! Flowers were a big part of this wedding. The venue - The Angel House Brighton, is an amazing Regency house, full of character and period features. Including some amazing fireplaces and staircase, that are perfect for romantic, wild floral displays.

The couple wanted to decorate this private house they have exclusively hired for themselves and their guests with lush Spring flowers. They chose pastel and blush pink hues, romantic but wild and unstructured floral arrangements dotted through the entire house. Since the ceremony and wedding breakfast took place in the same venue, there was no concern for logistics of having to move designs during the day. This meant we could go really wild with the floral installations. Perfect for this Brighton wedding.

The flowers we chose were the best the Spring season has to offer - Anemones, Narcissus, Tulips, Paper Whites mixed in with the perfect combination of pale blueDelphiniums, blush pink garden roses, Clematis and Lysiathus. All mixed with greenery and foliage. The scent of all my floral arrangements is very important to me, I want the flowers filling the space with delicate floral scent reflecting the season. The bridal bouquet, has to be scented so that in years to come, that floral scent is associated with that very special day. I love to be transferred to specific times of my life by scent. Music does that and so does fragrance, right?

The luxury bridal flowers were a lush, garden inspired and organic Spring bridal bouquet with silk, long, trailing ribbons. Whilst the bridesmaids, dressed in blush pink gowns and pink faux-fur shrugs, carried bouquets reflecting the bridal arrangement perfect for this Sussex wedding. Also with blush pink, pale blue and white flowers combined with eucalyptus. The accessories were on point - Gucci golden sandals for the bride and beautiful jewelled hair piece with stars, perfect for the long boho bridal gown.

This Brighton Regency house was decorated with oodles of greenery and foliage to create these garden inspired and organic, lush floral installations and floral arrangements. We have decorated 3 period feature fireplaces with flowers. Asymmetric and wild floral designs with touch of romance were installed on the mantle pieces in each room. The impressive stairs were beautified by wild and unstructured meadows with added pampas grass - bride's fave - to add the relaxed boho feel to the floral decor. Here at Fig&Flower floral installations are one our favourite floral designs to work on. Wild, untamed, garden inspired wedding florals are the very core of what we love.

I could share the beautiful details from this love and laughter filled wedding for ever but if you'd like to see more, please hear to my portfolio for even more Spring wedding floral inspiration. There you will also find galleries from our recent weddings filled with wedding flower inspiration from a top Sussex fine-art florist.
